Tanya & Niall’s wedding at Oak Tree Barn was nothing short of magical, and I had the absolute pleasure of capturing every heartfelt moment. Before we dive into their incredible day, let’s talk about what makes this Kent wedding venue so special, alongside their gorgeous Oak Tree Barn wedding photography!

Oak Tree Barn Wedding Venue
Set in Tonbridge in the heart of Kent, Oak Tree Barn is a unique rustic wedding venue, offering both indoor and outdoor options. If you’re looking for a venue that feels intimate yet stylish, this is it! The beautifully restored barn is set in 5 acres, with an ancient oak tree at its heart. Surrounded by open fields and picturesque gardens, Oak Tree Barn is a stunning backdrop for your whole day. Whether you’re dreaming of a boho-inspired wedding or a more classic countryside affair, this gorgeous venue has a way of making every celebration feel unique and personal.
One of the best things about this venue? It’s exclusive use, meaning you and your guests get the whole place to yourselves. Just a private, beautiful space to celebrate your love with your nearest and dearest.

Tanya & Niall’s Beautiful Oak Tree Barn Wedding
Now let’s talk about Tanya & Niall, because these two know how to throw a wedding! They wanted a wedding that felt relaxed, fun, and totally them, and that’s exactly what they created. Their day was a perfect mix of rustic romance and personal touches. They had a stunning outdoor ceremony in the sunshine, followed by a chilled al fresco drinks reception.

One thing I love about Oak Tree Barn Weddings, is the beautiful moment when the couple can put a special padlock on the oak tree. It’s such a gorgeous touch to forever signify their special day.

The barn was decorated with beautiful warm tones and personalised signage, creating a cosy and stylish atmosphere.

For couple portraits we were spoilt for choice, with the iconic swing photo followed by a breathtaking sunset in the field. I am just obsessed with this golden glow!

Onto the speeches and evening reception, Tanya & Niall knew how to celebrate! From smoke bombs with the bridal party to a campervan photobooth, every aspect was full of fun and energy. Followed by a fantastic dancefloor, their guests truly brought the party, and capturing those candid, joy-filled moments was such a pleasure.

The magic of their Engagement Photoshoot (and why you should have one!)
Before their wedding day I met Tanya & Niall for the most amazing engagement photoshoot, and honestly, I think it made their wedding photos even more special. We headed to the beach for a relaxed session, and they brought along their French bulldog, Indy, who completely stole the show!
An engagement shoot isn’t just about getting lovely photos before the big day, it’s about feeling comfortable in front of the camera. For Tanya & Niall, it meant they got used to my shooting style, had so much fun, and by the time their wedding day arrived, they were totally at ease and looking forward to their portraits.
And let’s not forget the added bonus, engagement photos make incredible wedding decor! You can use them for your guest book, table names, or even a gorgeous photo wall at the reception. It’s such a beautiful, personal touch.
