Rebecca & Ellen’s Rivervale Barn Wedding

Picture this: two incredible brides, a shared love for football, and a wedding day that was bursting with joy and energy. Rebecca & Ellen’s wedding at Rivervale Barn on April 2nd 2024, was one of those days that reminded me exactly why I love being a wedding photographer.

From the moment I met them, it was clear that Rebecca & Ellen were the perfect match, both radiating warmth, love, and an infectious excitement for their big day. Their bridal looks were nothing short of stunning, with breathtaking outfits from Ava Louise Bridal and White Rose Bridal Rooms. Together, they looked like a real life fairytale.

The day was packed with emotional moments, from their tear-jerking vows in the beautifully adorned ceremony room, to the heartfelt speeches that left not a single dry eye in the barn. But if one thing was certain, this wedding was as much about fun as it was about love.

One of the biggest surprises of the day (and one that neither Rebecca nor Ellen saw coming) was the singing waiters, secretly arranged by their family. One minute guests were enjoying their meal, and the next, the entire room erupted into a full-blown singalong and dance party. 

And speaking of dance moves, Rebecca & Ellen’s entrance into their wedding breakfast was nothing short of legendary. Think Hollywood rom-com meets festival energy, with guests joining in as if they were part of a choreographed number. It was electric, it was joyful, and it set the tone for an evening of non-stop celebrations.

For me, this wedding also carried an extra layer of meaning. Almost two years ago I had the honour of photographing Rebecca’s sister’s wedding, so being part of another milestone for this wonderful family felt like a true heartfelt reunion. It was incredible to see so many familiar faces, all coming together again to celebrate love in its purest form.
