Set in 20 acres of Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire countryside, South Farm is an absolute dream for couples who love the rustic meets elegant vibe. Think charming barns, a country farmhouse, idyllic gardens, and even a few resident animals adding to the venue’s unique character. 

South Farm offers a relaxed yet stylish setting for couples looking to celebrate in their own way. It’s a venue that truly transforms with the seasons, making it an ideal place for weddings all year round. They’re an eco-friendly wedding venue too, growing much of their own produce on their organic smallholding. How cool is that!

Niamh & Ollie’s South Farm Barn Wedding

Getting Ready

The day started with Niamh and her bridesmaids getting ready in the lovely Coach House Suite. I adored documenting the buzz and excitement, as well as Niamh’s gorgeous wedding attire. When she stepped into that dress, wow… Niamh’s dress was to die for! Elegant, gold and sparkly, she looked like something straight out of a magazine!

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

Niamh & Ollie had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony in the gorgeous grounds. It was heartfelt and full of laughter, as they exchanged their vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. I then helped to organise the guests to capture their iconic confetti moment in front of the blue door.

Couple Portraits at South Farm

The sun was shining for their couple portraits, and with their perfectly timed spring wedding, the wisteria was in full bloom too! We wandered around the grounds, making the most of every beautiful corner. From the venue itself to the long grasses and daffodils, we captured the most gorgeous variety in their couple portraits.

Plus, we were even treated to some golden hour at the end! The soft, warm light perfectly wrapped around them, creating a completely magical moment.

South Farm Barn Wedding Breakfast

They had beautifully styled the dining area at South Farm, with elegant white roses, foliage and candles. It was so dreamy! I also got a first look at their wedding cake, topped with the cutest little macarons!

The speeches were full of laughter and toasts, (and quite literally a piece of toast too – see below!) It was such a joy to capture wonderful candids of everyone having the best time.

Evening Reception

The evening celebration was full of fun and unique touches, including a magician, a tiered cheese cake and incredible dance moves! They had a live band that really uplevelled the atmosphere, and everyone had the best time. From the first dance to the last, everyone was up on their feet, and the energy was contagious. 

Niamh & Ollie’s special day was one of those weddings where you could just feel the love, joy, and absolute fun radiating from every single person in the room.
