Some weddings are pure magic from start to finish, and Beth & Tommy’s day at Great Fosters was exactly that. From their heartfelt ceremony to their dance floor bursting with energy (and a perfectly timed Earth, Wind & Fire moment), their wedding was the perfect blend of romance, fun, and creativity. As a Great Fosters wedding photographer, it’s days like this that remind me why I love what I do; beautiful surroundings, thoughtful details, and two people who are totally and utterly in love.

Great Fosters Wedding Venue

Nestled in the Surrey countryside just outside Windsor, Great Fosters is one of those venues that makes your jaw drop the moment you arrive. This Tudor estate is steeped in royal history and full of character. It’s set in 50 acres of iconic gardens and grounds, complete with a fountain, Saxon moat and Japanese bridge. 

The venue has everything you need for a perfect wedding; elegant ceremony spaces, an orangery that’s flooded with natural light, and stunning grounds perfect for portraits. Plus, there are 56 individually designed rooms and suites, perfect for you and your guests to spend the night.

Great Fosters is one one of my favourite Surrey wedding venues and looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale. This was especially fitting for Beth & Tommy’s Disney-inspired day!

Beth & Tommy’s Joyful Wedding at Great Fosters

From the moment I met Beth & Tommy, I knew their wedding was going to be something special. They’re genuinely two of the nicest people you could ever meet, and their shared love for Disney brought such a joyful and personal touch to their wedding day.

Their decor was a total showstopper, full of colour, imagination, and nods to the films that shaped their love story. The highlight? Tommy hand-designed every guest as a Pixar character and printed them onto custom coasters as a surprise favour. He even made one for every supplier, which was one of the most thoughtful gestures I’ve ever seen at a wedding.

Their seating plan was equally creative, styled like a Disneyland map and complete with themed locations. Every table name was unique, every detail had purpose, and together it created a day that was bursting with personality.

The florals were bold and beautiful, perfectly complementing the joyful energy of the day. Paired with colourful confetti as Beth & Tommy walked down the aisle, the whole setting felt warm and full of life.

Now, let’s talk about that dance floor moment. Their first dance was set to a Disney classic (of course), but what came next took things to a whole new level. The second song was September by Earth, Wind & Fire and if you’ve already clocked it, yes, they got married on the 21st of September! The moment that iconic intro kicked in, everyone was on their feet. The dance floor was absolutely packed, full of laughter, singing, and some very enthusiastic moves.

Their wedding truly embodied everything I love to capture as a photographer; connection, laughter, and those spontaneous moments that you just can’t plan. Every time I look back at the photos, I can feel the wonderful energy all over again.

My Favourite Great Fosters Wedding Photography Moments

From a photography point of view, Great Fosters is a dream venue. The grounds are full of variety, from manicured gardens, romantic walkways, and the peaceful bridge over the water. The interior is just as stunning and varied, from the light-filled orangery to the cosy Tithe Barn.

Beth & Tommy made the most of every corner, from the grandeur of the house to the immaculate gardens. We had the most beautiful golden hour light in the evening, and their portraits turned out absolutely stunning.

Their Great Fosters wedding was the kind of day that sticks with you, full of colour, personality, and genuine joy. It was such a privilege to capture it all for them, and every time I share a photo from their day people can’t get enough (especially those amazing coasters!)
