If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like when personality, colour and joy all collide into one glorious day, let me introduce you to Bex & Alex’s wedding at Primrose Hill Farm. As a Primrose Hill Farm wedding photographer I’ve seen a fair few beautiful weddings, but this one? It was something else…
From hot pink Jimmy Choos to a stunning hand-painted wedding dress, and a field full of golden light to end the day, this celebration was truly one for the books. Plus, it was even featured on Rock My Wedding!
Before I get into all the details of their incredible wedding, let’s chat about the venue itself. If you’re planning a wedding at Primrose Hill Farm, you’re already onto something very special…

Primrose Hill Farm Wedding Venue
Primrose Hill Farm is tucked away in the Cotswolds countryside, and somehow manages to feel effortlessly stylish and wonderfully homely at the same time. The contemporary barn is a dream, with neutral colours and huge windows that allow natural light to flood in. And the surrounding fields? Absolute golden hour heaven.
What I love about photographing weddings here is the flow. There’s a sense of ease about the space that lets couples relax, be present, and just enjoy their day. It’s perfect for couples who want style without stuffiness, and who want a celebration that feels just as good as it looks.

Bex & Alex’s Gorgeous Primrose Hill Farm Wedding
Now, onto Bex & Alex’s day, where do I even begin? This wedding had so many standout moments, but what made it truly unforgettable was the way it was unapologetically, beautifully them.
Let’s start with the shoes. Bex’s hot pink Jimmy Choos were the spark that inspired the entire colour scheme. And honestly? Iconic. From the moment I saw them, I knew the day was going to be full of bold, joyful details, and it did not disappoint! The florals were wild and vibrant, and even the guest’s outfits were full of colour. It all worked together perfectly.
Bex’s dress by House of Savin deserves its own spotlight. It was covered in hand-painted roses and was the perfect mix of romantic, modern and whimsical. I think we can all agree she looked absolutely phenomenal!

Alex looked sharp in a classic suit, and together they were a dream, full of energy, laughter, and love. But it wasn’t all just fun and fashion, the day was deeply emotional too. Both Bex and Alex had sadly lost their fathers in the years leading up to their wedding, and their presence was felt in the most heartfelt ways throughout the day. The speeches were full of love and beautifully spoken tributes, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the barn (mine included).

My Favourite Primrose Hill Farm Wedding Photography Moments
One of my favourite moments of the day was when we slipped away into the fields for their couple portraits. The sun was dipping low, the light was that perfect buttery gold, and it felt like time slowed down just for the two of them.

And we can’t not talk about the party. First we did an epic champagne spray to get started, and then the dancefloor was alive from the word go! You could just tell how much love surrounded Bex & Alex. The energy was unreal, the playlist was amazing, and the whole barn was buzzing with happiness.

Blenheim Palace Engagement Photoshoot
What helped make Bex & Alex’s wedding photography experience even more amazing? Before their epic wedding day at Primrose Hill Farm, we met for an engagement shoot at none other than the magnificent Blenheim Palace. It was the dreamiest day with soft light and stunning backdrops, plus we were joined by their sweet little boy Oscar. He stole the show, and it was such a joy to capture them just being themselves as a family in such an iconic location.
Having an engagement shoot is one of those things that can really elevate your whole wedding experience. It gives us time to get to know each other, shake off any camera nerves, and just hang out in a fun way. By the time the wedding comes around, everything feels way more relaxed, and it definitely shows in your photos.
