The charm of Chapel House Estate

Nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside, Chapel House Estate is a hidden gem full of charm and elegance. It’s the perfect blend of historic character and modern luxury, making it an idyllic backdrop for your wedding photos. From the moment you step onto the estate, you’ll be greeted by beautifully manicured gardens, stunning architecture, and a sense of tranquillity that’s just perfect for your special day.

Built in 1290, Chapel House is located in the heart of the estate. It was built from the ground up to become a beautiful wedding venue and opened in July 2022. You get the venue for a whole 24 hours and there is plenty of accommodation for you and your guests.

Why I love photographing Weddings at Chapel House Estate

As a Chapel House Estate wedding photographer, I can’t help but get excited every time I’m booked for a wedding here. The estate offers so many stunning backdrops that make my job even more dreamy! Here are a few reasons why Chapel House Estate is one of the best Kent wedding venues (and one of my favourites!)

The Ceremony Spaces

Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a grand affair, Chapel House Estate has you covered. There are multiple locations within the estate where you can tie the knot, each beautiful and unique.

The first indoor ceremony option is the Thorne Barn. This modern space can seat up to 150 guests, making it the perfect choice for a large celebration. For a more rustic style there’s the Old Malt Granary which again can seat 150 guests, some on the beautiful mezzanine.

Moving to the outdoor ceremony locations we have the Wild Apple Orchard, which is a beautiful and peaceful space in nature to say your vows. For a more intimate wedding there is the Walled Courtyard, which is available for exclusive hire separately and independently from the rest of the Chapel House Estate. If you would like the entire 35 acre estate exclusively, this can be arranged too!

The gardens at Chapel House Estate are a photographer’s paradise! From the moment you step onto the grounds, you’re surrounded by lush greenery, flowers, and beautifully landscaped paths. Inside, Chapel House Estate doesn’t disappoint! The interior spaces are just as impressive as the exterior, with elegant rooms perfect for capturing the all important morning preparations. Think beautiful natural light, classic decor, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the pre-ceremony excitement. And let’s not forget the beautiful dining area where you can toast with your loved ones.
