There’s something incredibly special about an intimate London wedding, and Brenda & Nick’s day at The Old Marylebone Town Hall was nothing short of magical. Travelling all the way from Wisconsin, USA, they wanted a wedding day that combined their love for adventure with the timeless elegance of a London elopement. And let me tell you, they absolutely nailed it!
From their heartfelt ceremony to exploring some of London’s most iconic landmarks, their wedding was a perfect blend of romance, fun, and a little bit of sightseeing. And to top it all off, their wedding was featured on Rock & Roll Bride! But before we get into all the details of their epic day, let’s talk about the stunning venue that started it all…

Why The Old Marylebone Town Hall is Perfect for your London Wedding
If you’re looking for a London wedding venue full of charm, sophistication, and history, you really can’t go wrong with The Old Marylebone Town Hall. This Grade II listed building is full of character, and has been the backdrop for some of the most iconic weddings. It’s easy to see why so many couples choose it for their special day.
The Town Hall offers seven beautifully designed ceremony rooms, meaning whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a grand affair, there’s a space to suit your vibe. Brenda & Nick’s Intimate Destination London Wedding
Brenda & Nick’s wedding was the perfect example of how to turn a simple, intimate ceremony into an unforgettable adventure. They invited eight of their best friends to come to England with them as their bridal party, and it was so special to be involved.
From the moment I started helping them plan their big day, I knew it was going to be something truly magical.

The Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding Ceremony
After some heartfelt words outside, their ceremony was held in one of the Old Marylebone Town Hall’s elegant rooms. They exchanged vows surrounded by their closest friends, and the room was filled with so much love and emotion. It was such a special atmosphere.

Exploring London for Epic Wedding Photos
After their ceremony, we hit the streets of London for some truly iconic wedding portraits. Since Brenda & Nick had travelled all the way from the US, they wanted to capture the essence of London’s beauty and history, and that’s exactly what we did!
We started with classic newlywed shots on the grand steps of The Old Marylebone Town Hall, before hopping in a black cab to explore some of London’s most famous landmarks. Some of our stops included: Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and of course some iconic red telephone box photos!
Brenda & Nick were absolute naturals in front of the camera, relaxed, joyful, and so in love. Their chemistry, combined with London’s vibrant energy, made for some seriously breathtaking photos.

Intimate London Wedding Reception
After our London adventure, they celebrated with an intimate dinner at Gloria, a beautiful Italian restaurant in Shoreditch. It was a perfect way to end the day and soak up every moment of their destination wedding adventure.

Brenda & Nick’s wedding was a prime example of how to plan the perfect destination wedding in London, and I was honoured to help them bring it all together. If you’re thinking of doing the same, here are a few tips:
Choose a Photographer who knows London well
As a London wedding photographer, I don’t just show up and take photos. I help my couples plan a smooth, seamless day, from timings and locations to finding the best hidden gems for portraits.

Plan your portrait locations in advance
London is a bustling city, so having a plan for your portrait locations is key. Whether you want classic landmarks, picturesque streets, or a mix of both, I can help map out the perfect route.

Consider the weather (because, you know… London!)
London’s weather is famously unpredictable, so be prepared! A stylish clear umbrella or a chic coat can add a fun touch to your wedding look if we get a little drizzle.
